Hein Ploegmakers joined Gilde in 1999 and has since been involved in many of the Gilde Buy-Out Fund II investments including the investments in Norit, GB Ingredients, Janssen de Jong, Gazelle and Drie Mollen where he was principally responsible for the bolt on acquisitions of Merkur and First Choice. Recently he was involved in the buyout of Nedschroef and Heiploeg.

Prior to joining Gilde, Hein worked for Morgan Stanley’s M&A group. As part of his master’s degree, Hein completed a research project at Rabobank International’s risk management department.
