Heiploeg is one of Europe’s leading processors and distributors of North Sea and tropical fresh/frozen shrimp to retail and wholesale customers. Development
Six years after a consortium of investors, including Gilde, sold Heiploeg to UBS Capital, Gilde and Heiploeg have reunited, completing the management buyout of Heiploeg Beheer in 2006. Gilde has syndicated part of its investment to Rabo Participaties and Wagram Equity Partners. Gilde aims to support Heiploeg next growth phase through new product introductions and penetration of new geographic markets which may include selective bolt-on acquisitions.
