walter services is the market leader in outsourcing solutions for a variety of customer relations needs. walter services’ services range from telephone customer services and virtual sales to a field sales force and business process outsourcing for a blue-chip client base in telecommunications, pharma, retail and media. Headquartered in Germany, the company operates from 36 communication and service centres in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with over 5,500 employees.

Development
Gilde completed the acquisition of walter services from the Beisheim family office in June 2006. With a motivated and strong management team and on the back of a fast growing market for outsourced customer services walter services plans to further grow its business by building on its existing client base and taking over complete call centre operations for third parties.

Gilde sold walter services in 2008 to Odewald & Cie. and capiton, but kept a minority stake.
