Koninklijke Nedschroef is a leading manufacturer of metal fasteners for the automotive industry and its suppliers (>90% of turnover). In addition the Machine and Tooling division develops and produces machines and tools for hot and cold forming of steel primarily for suppliers to the automotive industry. With its headquarters in Helmond (The Netherlands) Nedschroef operates 12 manufacturing facilities across Europe and employs 1,570 FTE.

Development
After issuing a successful public offer for all outstanding shares on Euronext Amsterdam, Gilde acquired Nedschroef in June 2007. Nedschroef has shown strong autonomous growth in recent years and expects to prolong this growth path in a consolidating market. Driven by the desire of the automotive industry to systematically reduce the number of suppliers, Nedschroef, as leading fastener supplier, is well positioned to act as an active consolidator.
